Donation Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all donations (one-time contributions and recurring donations) made through the Project Second Home platform (www.projectsecondhome.org), including donations made via MobilePay, payment cards, or direct bank transfer.

Purpose and Use of Donations
When you donate to Project Second Home, your donation is used exclusively to support the shared mission of establishing, building, and operating the Second Home Compound in Aba, Nigeria. The project provides holistic support, housing, healthcare, and education to vulnerable young mothers and their children.
Funds raised in Denmark are legally received and administered by Bright Home Foundation, which ensures full transparency, accountability, and transfer of funds to the project’s implementation in Nigeria in collaboration with Second Haven Foundation.
Payment Methods and Collection of Donations
One-Time Donations
For one-time donations made by payment card or MobilePay, the amount is charged immediately. For bank transfers, the donation is registered once the funds have been received in the organization’s bank account.
Recurring Monthly Donations
When you set up a recurring donation agreement (for example through MobilePay Subscriptions, payment card payments, or a standing bank transfer order), the agreed amount will be collected automatically once per month. The first payment is processed when the agreement is established, and subsequent payments are collected monthly on the same date.
Changes and Cancellation of Recurring Donations
A recurring donation agreement may be changed or cancelled at any time without notice and at no cost.
MobilePay
Agreements created through MobilePay can be cancelled directly by the donor within the MobilePay app under the “Agreements” section.
Bank Transfer
If you have set up a recurring monthly bank transfer through your own online banking service, you are responsible for stopping or deleting the payment arrangement through your bank.
By Email
You may also contact us at info@projectsecondhome.org, and we will assist you in cancelling your donation agreement manually. If you contact us at least five business days before the next scheduled payment, we will ensure that the payment is stopped before the next collection date.
Right of Withdrawal and Refunds
As a donation is a voluntary contribution to a charitable purpose and no goods or services are provided in return, there is generally no statutory right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Donations that have already been processed are generally non-refundable. However, if you believe that an obvious error has occurred (for example, an incorrect amount entered by mistake), please contact us as soon as possible by email.
Processing of Personal Data (GDPR)
When you make a donation, we collect and process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and donation amount.
Your personal data is treated confidentially and processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Information is shared only between the partner organizations to the extent necessary for the administration and operation of the project.
Personal data is retained for five years in accordance with Danish bookkeeping and accounting requirements.
